New Law Bans Indoor Tanning For Those Under 18

Thursday, Governor Cuomo signed a new piece of legislation that prohibits the use of indoor tanning beds for anyone under the age of 18.

WIVB reports "The bill is intended to reduce the risk of skin cancer among minors." Before this law, anyone under the age of 17 was previously allowed to use indoor tanning beds with the consent of a parent.
