A bit of good news for the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station.

News 4 Buffalo reports that yesterday (Tuesday), a Senate subcommittee passed a bill that includes funding for the base for the coming year.   Eight hundred jobs in the 107th Airlift Wing have been in question due to proposed defense cuts.

The bill still needs to pass a full committee before going to the Senate, but there is reason to be hopeful.
