More than seven-thousand participated in the 2015 Buffalo Marathon over the weekend.

This year's marathon sold out for the first time ever, and was dedicated to it's former director, Tom Donnelly, who died unexpectedly last November.

Kiplingat Tisia (a native of Kenya, who now resides in Rochester) was the first to cross the finish line and set a new race record. He also smashed his own personal record, and said that it was due to the change in the course.
