New Sesame Street Muppet Tackles Hunger In America [VIDEO]

Sesame Street  will introduce a new Muppet named Lily tonight during its prime time special "Growing Hope Against Hunger" on PBS. 

Lily portrays a 7-year-old girl who's family is struggling financially.  She's joined by country music star Brad Paisley and his wife, Kimberly Williams Paisley, in this special episode featuring stories from children whose families have run into economic hard times in recent years.  The hope is Lily and her friends can draw attention to the problem of hunger in America.
