Niagara County District Attorney Resigns
Niagara County District Attorney, Michael Violante, is resigning.
Officials confirmed that the top prosecutor in the county submitted his resignation on Monday, but have declined to provide further details.
Republic Michael Violante's departure now leaves a Democratic governor the decision to find an interim replacement, until the upcoming election in November.
