Niagara Falls Drops Drip Program

The Niagara Falls Water Board is dropping the city's "Drip Program", a program designed to give customers a break in their water bill. The break was intended customers to be allowed to run a certain amount of water, with out being charged. This would prevent pipelines from freezing freezing.

According to WGRZ the Niagara Falls Water Board's decision comes after there were no reports of freezing pipes last winter. The Niagara Falls City Council plans to introduce a resolution that would bring back the program.

Customers that benefited from the program save an average between $30-$100 off their bills.  What do you think of the "Drip Program" being dropped? Comment below!
