Niagara Falls To Nik Wallenda, Pay Up.

Niagara Falls, of New York, wants Nik Wallenda to pay up.  They say Wallenda still owes about $25,000 for public safety costs from last month's tightrope walk across the falls.   

Mayor Paul Dyster says the state legislation that granted permission for the walk required Wallenda to cover security and law enforcement costs. Dyster says the city spent about $43,000, mostly for police and fire overtime. He says it has received $17,500 so far, but Wallenda's team wants the city to forget the rest.

I'm thinking this might put a damper on a return trip by Wallenda, especially on the American side.
