NKOTB Friends TLC Seek Help From Fans To Fund Final CD

By now you must of heard that the 'New Kids on The Block' will be back in Buffalo for a July 2nd show at First Niagara Center. Well, they're bringing their friends Nelly and TLC with them and, did you know you can help TLC with their latest CD release?

TLC hasn't released a CD since '02 and now they’re working on a final CD and are hoping fans will help them raise money through the popular Kickstarter campaign.

According to The Daily News:

T-Boz and Rozanda "Chilli" Thomas have already begun the writing phase and production of their fifth album, expecting to release it in May when their tour starts. The group is hoping to collect at least $150,000 through the campaign to fund the recording process from paying for studio time, production, compensating the musicians and promoting the album.

The surviving members of TLC say that using Kickstarter would allow fans to have more control over the direction of their final CD. Perhaps you'll hear a song you helped fund at the big show in Buffalo, New York, in July!

New Kids on the Block with TLC and Nelly will perform here on Thursday, July 2nd, 2015 and, the show will feature a 360-degree stage for a special “in the round” view of the performances.

NKOTB have sold over 80 million records in their 30-year career, while TLC has sold around 20 million.
