NYS Launches New Policy Against Sexual Violence

Governor Andrew Cuomo announced on Thursday that New York State is launching a new policy to rid sexual violence on all SUNY campuses. Cuomo said this policy will be uniform across the state, and all schools with have to comply with the specifications. SUNY will also have to adopt a uniform confidentially and reporting protocol, including a system where students won't get in trouble while for reporting a case of sexual violence.
