Orchard Park Involved In A Wednesday Night Stand-Off

More than fifty Police Officers were on the scene of a stand-off near Abbott and Berg Roads in Orchard Park on Wednesday night.

Town of Hamburg Police were also called in to assist, and an alert was sent out to residents urging them to stay indoors until the situation was resolved.

After a few short hours, the man barricaded inside his apartment surrendered to police and was taken to ECMC for evaluation. No charges have been filed at this time.
