Owner of Landmark Restaurant Dies [VIDEO]

The longtime owner of Earl's Restaurant has died. Earl Northrup passed away Monday morning. He was 77-years-old. Earl's was a WNY landmark on Route 16 in Chaffee for 56 years. Northrup retired closing the restaurant in 2007. It re-opened briefly before closing for good this past January.

I too was a visitor to Earl's for great food including incredible apple pie, drinks served in fruit jar mugs, and folksy surroundings.
