Parenting Trends for 2017: Finger Plays

Pinterest is the go-to source for all things parenting/crafting/anxiety-inducing projects. They put out their Hot 100 list last month, and Tony and I have been taking turns trying out the trendiest stuff for parents to do with their kids this year.

This week, I put finger plays to the test.

I started making them last night out of pipe cleaners and googly eyes. Obviously unimpressed by my skills, my 7-year-old stepped up and took over. Good thing he did, as his finger plays were *way* better than mine. Check it out.

He had a blast making them, and then went on to make finger plays of every Minecraft character imaginable. This particular parenting trend gets two thumbs up (topped with finger plays).
