Parent's and students gathered in front of Buffalo City Hall at noon today to show a united front against the direction Buffalo Public Schools are heading in.

Sam Radford, of the Parenting Council spoke of how the entire school system needs to work as one in order to achieve the best possible learning environment for all students. One practice that was criticized by Mr. Radford was taking the best and brightest students out of struggling schools and concentrate them in a few well performing schools.  This practice he says only hurts the struggling schools more.

Mr Radfors also went on to say that today's boycott was not about giving students a day off but more about showing unity in changing the policies of the Buffalo school system.
