If the 198 is part of your travels on Sunday, heading to mom's or Mother's Day brunch, heads up!

The second season of "Slow Roll Buffalo" kicks off Sunday in Delaware Park, so starting around 11:30, the Scajaquada will be closed between Grant and Parkside, at least for a couple of hours.

Please plan an alternate route, and give yourself some extra time.

What IS "Slow Roll Buffalo"?  It's a chance for you to see the city in a new way, while biking with fellow Buffalonians!

It actually started in Detroit, and quickly spread as people took more interest not only in more physical activity, but also in seeing parts of the area they may not have experienced before. There's a different route each Monday evening, and while it's FREE, there is a one-time registration requirement either online or onsite.

It's a slow pace for riders of all levels and ages (those under 18 need a parent or guardian and NO training wheels are allowed).  Get more info here.

You can join the Facebook group as well for up-to-the-minute details!  Ride on!
