Pastry Heart-Style Cutouts

- 4 cups flour
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 lb. Parkay margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl cream margarine and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add cottage cheese and blend until mixed. Slowly add flour, 1 cup at a time. Mix until combined. Chill dough for an hour. Roll out (about 1/2-inch thick). Cut out with desired cutter. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 15-20 minutes. Cool and frost.

Frosting glaze
Blend together 1 cup sifted confectioner’s sugar, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. vanilla and enough milk or water to make easy to spread. Icing may be colored by adding a drop or two of food coloring.
