Piers Morgan isn't even on the air yet, and he's already banned one guest from his CNN talk show in the U.S. According to HollywoodReporter.com, Morgan was recently quoted in the UK press saying that Madonna wasn't welcome on "Piers Morgan Tonight."  The 45-year-old said of pop's Material Girl, quote, "She is too vegan for TV.  We have Lady Gaga now so Madonna is banned from my show."  Morgan added that his ideal guests will be high-profile subjects like U.S. President Barack Obama, fallen superstar Mel Gibson, or, quote, "whoever is in the news who is relevant and current."  Madonna's people didn't waste time responding the comments.  A rep for the 52-year-old icon told Popeater.com, quote, "Madonna doesn't know who Piers Morgan is, but she's a big fan of Lady Gaga."

Morgan's comments coincide with his predecessor's final week on CNN.  Veteran Larry King's "Larry King Live" will end its run on the cable network this Thursday, December 16th.  "Piers Morgan Tonight" will debut next month.
