Prince Was Writing a Memoir Telling His Life Story
I read an article last month in Us Weekly about the fact that Prince was writing a memoir telling his life story. Random House is set to publish this book which was due to hit store shelves in the fall of 2017. Will it now?
US Weekly tells us:
According to a press release, the memoir was imagined as "an unconventional and poetic journey through [Prince's] life and creative work." He planned to call it The Beautiful Ones, after the 1984 song of the same name on his iconic album Purple Rain.
Prince said that the book will go all the way back to his very earliest memories in life. He also wanted to write about his musical experiences right up to his iconic Super Bowl performance.
I hope those closest to him add their memories to finish this publication for 2017 as I'm sure it will be a best seller.
