This isn't the first rat problem we have heard around Western New York this month. The latest victim to those pesky rats is a Buffalo School though and it the presence of the rodents is forcing the cafeteria to close. Stanley M. Makowski Early Childhood Center has a plan to fix the problem:

We are working with the school to remove the source of the rat droppings and the children are getting box lunches or meals until we feel it is getting safe for the kitchen facilities to be used", according to Erie County Health Commissioner Dr. Gale Burstein on Thursday and WGRZ.
