The manufacturers of Almond Breeze almond milk, have issued a recall because the non-dairy beverage could contain real milk.

ABC 7 reports, "Approximately 145,254 half-gallon cartons of the affected product were shipped to retailers and wholesalers in 29 states, including New York, New Jersey and Connecticut."

The recall applies to the refrigerated Vanilla Almond Breeze almond milk with a use-by date of September 2, 2018, reports ABC 7.

The affected products have the following information printed on them:

Unless you have a dairy allergy, the affected products are otherwise safe to consume.
