Remember Concerts at the Lakeside Amphitheater at Darien Lake? Before the PAC?

Remember going to Darien Lake concerts before the Performing Arts Center?

The location that is now used for the laser light show inside of the park back by the Boomerang roller coaster was the sight of the Lakeside Amphitheater where concerts started as early as the 1980's.

The concerts were then moved to what you know now as the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center which is a totally separate entity. Before 1993 Darien Lake concerts were held as early as 1985.

Nearly 100 concerts were played at Lakeside Amphitheater including, some of the greats, Bob Dylan, The Allman Brothers, Weir + Wasserman, Santana, Starship, Lynard Skynard, The Kinks and so many more. Here's Neil Young back in 1988!
