Repairs Underway at Clinton Correctional Facility

New York State -- that means you and I -- are spending $300,000 to repair the damage that David Sweat and Richard Matt caused to Clinton County Correctional Facility when they escaped in June.

Adirondack Mechanical Services was hired by the state to repair walls, pipes and fences around the facility in Dannemora. New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli approved the contract.

David Sweat is currently serving out his lifetime sentence at the Five Points Correctional Facility in Romulus, NY.
