With Veterans Day here, we thought we should salute the Wounded Warriors Family Support project. This organization is a supported by the Obama Administration and is helping provide businesses with a new sign for use in their their parking lots, designed for wounded warrior parking.

The Huffington Post reported:

“They need to be remembered and honored for their sacrifice in service to our country,” Col. John Folsom, president of Wounded Warriors Family Support, told The Huffington Post. “I see it as part of a healing of the spirit for our combat-wounded veterans.”

You may soon see purple spaces outside local businesses in Western New York along with newly erected aluminum signs in their parking lots designated for our wounded warriors.

If your establishment is interested in obtaining the signs, can simply apply online through your local Department of Transportation.
