Restaurant Takes Over Former Tonawanda Auto Garage On Erie Canal

There's a cool new restaurant opening soon alongside the Erie Canal in the Town of Tonawanda.

Prescott's Provisions, 40 E. Niagara St., City of Tonawanda, is almost finished transforming from an auto garage to a mid-level restaurant, centered around wood-fired cooking.

Chef Vincent Thompson told The Buffalo News, "We're about a month out." He hopes to have the restaurant open for business by the end of June, but "is still waiting for the restaurant's liquor license and electronic ordering system," according to The News.

Prescott's Provisions will have an open kitchen, allowing patrons to see the large wood-burning oven in action.
