Sabres And NHL Pre-season Canceled

This could be a bad sign of things to come, especially if you are a Sabres and hockey fan.  The NHL has officially cancelled the 2012 hockey preseason. 

The cancellation of the preseason schedule was necessary because of the absence of a Collective Bargaining Agreement between the NHL Players' Association and the NHL.

Opening night for the 2012-13 regular season is scheduled for Oct. 11.

The Buffalo Sabres have a contingency plan in place for season ticket holders in the event that the entire regular season is cancelled.
