Summer is just around the corner. If you want to feel satisfied through the day, try the following foods to help stave off hunger and drop a few pounds.

Get enough lean protein and fiber. In a study protein was shown to be #1 in fighting the hunger bug and fiber is second.

Fruits and vegetables.  Fill up that plate with good antioxidants, fiber and so much more. Pass the broccoli!

 Soup. Adding two low-calorie soups to your diet every day could stave off hunger pangs and keep you satisfied longer. Choose soups that are broth-based

Eat whole grains. A serving of whole grains will stick with you through the days. Stay away from processed foods.
