That means no more Wonder Bread, Ding-Dongs and all the other goodies we have come to know. The shutdown comes as a result of a crippling Bakers' Union strike. And for those of us old enough to remember (I'm not...lol), who can forget Western New York's own, "Buffalo Bob Smith" (and "Howdy Doody"), doing a little magic and making Twinkies right before our eyes.

No more Twinkies, Ho Ho's...what has the world come to? By the way, Twinkies were invented in Schiller Park, Illinois in 1930 by a baker named James Dewar, a baker for the Continental Baking Company.
