My mom HATES my tattoos and my affinity for them.  She wasn't real thrilled that I decided to celebrate the end of her breast cancer radiation treatments with new ink.

I have some ideas for my next piece, but I'm not ready to commit just yet (and a special thanks to listener "Ken from Tonawanda" for the generous gift certificate to my fave tat shop for my birthday!).  My mom sent me a text the other day that said "Before you get a tattoo, think of what you would have chosen five years ago. This may change your mind." (Sorry mom, didn't work. Still getting ink soon.)

This made us think of tattoo regret....something you REALLY felt strongly about at the time, but now HATE.  Dolphins come to mind...or "tramp stamps"....or someone's name...or a band's logo. (Or this, a hilarious scene from 'We're the Millers')

This guy decided -- OVER A MONTH AGO -- that Dallas would WIN the Super Bowl.  So he got a preemptive tattoo.  Which we're sure, he regrets.

I'll admit it, the ONE tat that I have holds SOME level of regret, but only because of it's size.  It was supposed to be the size of a silver dollar, but the tattoo artist convinced me I needed more detail. It's the Albanian flag, and it happened to be on the same day I buried my Albanian grandfather.  I was emotional.
