Western New York is not alone in this winter wonderland!  The National Weather Service says 49 out of 50 states in the Union have snow on the ground...  so which one doesn't?

Texas?  No!  Hawaii?  No!  The only state that isn't at least partially a winter wonderland today is Florida, according to the National Weather Service.  The agency estimates that 70.9 percent of the country is currently covered by snow.  "It's not typical," National Weather Service public affairs officer James Peronto told LiveScience.
