Snow is Possible This Weekend Throughout Western New York

The National Weather Service has the details about a special weather pattern that may contain freezing rain and snow this weekend. Expect slippery conditions on the sidewalks and on the Thruway.

Here are some of the details:

Rain likely before 2am, then snow likely. Cloudy, with a low around 29. Light northwest wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible. Saturday, A chance of snow, mainly before noon.

The unusual April weather in Western New York can be considered dangerous enough to cause loss of control while driving, or a slip a fall accident so, be careful!
