More Snow On The Way To Parts Of New York State

It looks like the first full day of Spring will be a snowy one across New York State.

A massive cold front continues to move across the state bringing with it cold temperatures and plenty of snow.

In fact, some parts of New York could get up to a foot of snow before the end of the day today.

Starting out in Western New York. The snow will be on and off throughout the day for much of the area. Much of the snow will come during the midday hours.

A lake effect snow warning is in place for Oswego and Lewis counties until 8 pm tonight.  

Down near New York City, it will be much different than the rest of the state.

The temperatures will warm up today but it will be a wet one with widespread rain showers expected throughout the day.  

Needless to say, the start of Spring will be an unusual one for New York.
