After reaching out to Wegmans stores in Depew and Amherst and their district office in Rochester, it's safe to say that if you’re considering buying Wegmans water, you're good. The stores in Western and Central New York recently recalled their Wegmans Food You Feel Good About Spring Water, over possibly being contaminated with Ecoli.

So far there has been no illness reported. However, Niagara Bottling has removed from shelves some 16.9oz bottles of Wegmans Spring Water that were possibly tainted. The bottles to be on the lookout for have a 'Best by 10 Jun16 through Best by 18 Jun 16' date stamp.

These are the products are included in the recall:

Wegmans FYFGA Spring Water, 16.9 oz UPC 7789018860
Wegmans FYFGA Spring Water, 16.9 oz, 12-pack UPC 7789010085
Wegmans FYFGA Spring Water, 16.9 oz, 24-pack UPC 7789028768
Wegmans FYFGA Spring Water, 16.9 oz, 35-pack UPC 7789029365

If you have any concerns call the Wegmans Consumer Affairs toll-free at 1-855-934-3663, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

If you have any of the above listed products you may return them for a full refund.
