While the Buffalo Bills managed to pull of a win against the Minnesota Vikings, it also came with a few injuries.C.J. Spiller underwent surgery on Tuesday for a broken collarbone, and has been placed on the reserve injured designated to return list. This means that Spiller will be eligible to return to practice on December 21st.

Fred Jackson is also out with a groin injury, and is expected to be out for at least the next four weeks.

In the meantime, the Bills signed running back Phillip Tanner to help fill in the gaps. So far, Tanner has played 39 games with the Dallas Cowboys from 2011 to 2013.
