The key to losing weight may be as easy as eating a lighter lunch! So says researchers at Cornell University!

The study  found that portion controlled lunches helped participants lose weight without dieting at any other times during the day. 

Cornell researchers say those taking part ate lunches like Chef Boyardee Pasta or Campbell's Soup.  The participants were allowed to eat as much as they wanted at other meals and for snacks during the day. 

Over 10 days, the participants who ate lighter lunches consumed 250 fewer calories per day than usual and lost, on average, 1.1 pounds.  Researchers say in a year, that could add up to a loss of 25 pounds a year!
