With the graduation rate and testing scores in the Buffalo School system in the very low range. Maybe it's time to borrow a page from a high school in New York City.

The school uses a unique teaching tool. Teachers create hip-hop  songs to help kids learn material on standardized tests. It's called fresh prep, and its working. Example, 70% of students who had previously failed their U.S. history exam, used this technique and passed.

Is this a progressive teaching tool whose time has come? What do you think?
