Students will return to the SUNY Geneseo campus today following the double murder-suicide of two students and one former student.

Police say that Colin Kingston had made suicidal references to several people before he showed up to an off-campus home and killed his ex-girlfriend, her friend and then took his own life.

According to police, 24-year-old Colin Kingston had been dating Kelsey Annese, but their recent break-up became too much for him, and it drove him to kill.

Police say that Kingston showed up at 18 Wadsworth Street sometime between 5:30A.M. and 6:20A.M. and killed Annese and Hutchinson while they were asleep. Police also say that whatever happened inside the home most likely ended shortly after it began.

Members at SUNY Geneseo say that this is a tragic way to start the Spring semester, but the students and staff will come together to support each other and their school.

The University announced that they have postponed their Tuesday games for both the men's and women's basketball teams.
