Many people do good deeds every day throughout the year.

Here are a few examples of these acts of kindness shared by some of Delilah's loyal listeners:

A coworker was going through chemo and every day after she returned from her treatment she found a new flower on her desk. I wrote a little poem telling her to watch her bouquet grow as she grows healthier. I added a new different artificial flower with each treatment she had. I even left other small trinkets and cards of encouragement for her. I signed them 'your flower power pal'. She received word that she was cancer free and I revealed my secret to her. She said the flowers gave her something to look forward to and they made her smile when she was down. Sharon

I made a special needs child in my class smile and laugh today by singing to him. Natalie

I sent my sister a package. It was an MP3 player with all her favorite music from the 70's. Progressive rock bands like Yes, Genesis, Pink Floyd, etc. My daughter and I loaded it up with everything we could think of. She has metastatic brain carcinoma and only a short time left on this earth and she has always loved her music so much. She was completely thrilled! Margaret

I was driving home when I saw an elderly woman with a cane trying to walk down her icy driveway. I pulled over and helped her get to her mailbox and back. She was so thankful that I stopped. Terri

Today at the grocery store a young father with two small boys was counting change to purchase food. I swiped my card and paid for him. There is no greater gift for me than the feeling I get when I've made someone else's day better. It may not change the world but someday they will pass it on. Michelle
