I'm not big on expensive gifts for Valentine's Day.  Hey, if everyone is quiet in my house so I can get a quick nap in, I'm pretty happy.  If the flowers cost $3.99, that's OK with me.  I'd rather have the extra cash in the bank.  I guess I don't have much company on this one though... a new survey finds many of you will be spending money on Valentine's Day...

Most Americans say they don't plan to let their budgets get in the way of romance this Valentine's Day.  A new survey by Citibank shows most people plan to spend about as much as they did last year on the day of love.  This, despite the fact that nearly three-quarters of Americans are on a savings spree.  Most survey participants plan to shell out around 111 dollars this Valentine's Day.  Men say they'll spend an average of about 130 dollars, while women plan to spend an average of 85 dollars.  Dinner is the most popular gift this year, followed by cards and flowers.
