Sutherland: ’24’ Movie Films This Spring

Do you miss 24? The heart-pounding tension? The wild plot twists? Well, you're in luck!  Star Kiefer Sutherland says the movie version will start filming in the Spring.

Sutherland made the announcement yesterday, at the Television Critics Association Winter Session in Southern California. He was there promoting his new series, Touch, where he plays a single father of an emotionally-challenged son with a unique connection to the world.

Starting a new series so soon after 24 ended wasn't in Sutherland's plans. But after reading the script, and meeting with executive producer Tim Kring [ creator of the cult series Heroes], he knew he had to sign on.

Touch has a preview episode January 25th on FOX.
