As fans prepare for this Sunday's home opener, one thing they can leave at home is the ubiquitous folding table.

The tailgate tradition of body slamming into folding tables has become synonymous with the antics of the Bill's mafia, getting mentions about it even in national media.

Today, new rules for games at New Era Field were announced, and the ban on slamming anything (we'll guess people, especially) into folding tables is officially a no-no.

WGRZ reports "Erie County Sheriff's deputies will be looking to eliminate excessive consumption of alcohol and checking for glass bottles. They are also reminding fans that they need to adhere to the "Fan Code of Conduct", which also includes the parking lots. Table slamming will not be permitted and those who violate the rule will be ejected and could face criminal charges."

You can read the full list of regulations at the Buffalo Bills website.
