As you may know by now, I've all but boycotted any other "talent" show on TV, save 'America's Got Talent', frankly because I'm sick of singing competitions. AGT actually showcases OTHER talents people have. Singers, if you're trying to get a gig, hit American Idol (well, scratch that one), The Voice, The Sing Off, Nashville Star, ABC's Rising Star, or your local karaoke bar.

We’re on the last leg of the quarterfinals in this week’s ‘America’s Got Talent.’ Who will stay and who will go? We have no idea but we’re anxious to find out.
Last night we witnessed not only a couple of contestants immediately being thrown out of the competition but seeing some others blowing their big chance to make it big. Yes, we’re in the midst of “Vegas Week” here in ‘America’s Got Talent‘ and the intensity, for some, is just too much to bear.
After weeks of auditions, we’re finally with the judges in Las Vegas for the next round of ‘America’s Got Talent.’ We’ve seen the worst and now have the supposed best on stage. But will those chosen to move forward be able to deliver their superb talent to the judges a second time? We’ll just have to watch and see.
We’re at the last leg of the audition tour, and boy has it been a ride so far. We’ve seen some amazing acts and, well, others we wish we could just forget. But we’re watching ‘America’s Got Talent,’ so we’re pretty much prepared to see anything happen on that stage.
