Baby Crying

A new study has come out saying letting your child cry themselves back to sleep is actually beneficial for them. The self-soothing method has been an object of controversy among parents, probably since the beginning of time.  Mom says "Go pick him up", Dad says "She's gotta learn somehow."  (Painting with a broad stroke there, obviously.)

How many times have you tried to talk "cute" to a baby or make funny sounds to make them smile? Sometimes what you think will work does just the opposite.
