Why Is early Detection Of Breast Cancer Important?

If Breast Cancer is found early, there are more treatment options and even a better chance for survival. Early detection includes a physical examination by your physician, a self breast exam and a mammogram.

Women age 20-39, a clinical breast exam by your physician should be performed. If not, ask for it. It should be done at least every 3 years, unless you are at high risk.
