New music venue coming to Buffalo's waterfront.

It’s Summer in Western New York (well unofficially), food and fun are back in full force at the waterfront and there are some new additions this year.

There is more and more to do at the Buffalo Waterfront these days, and this weekend you could be one of the first to ride the brand new carousel there.

Regardless of whether the Groundhog saw his shadow or not, it sure feels like Spring this week in Buffalo! Tuesday saw another unseasonably warm day in Western New York with temperatures into the 40s accompanied by sunny skies. Enjoy it while you can, the weather changing significantly, with strong winds Tuesday night an temperatures dropping into the 30's by Wednesday.

Some very windy conditions made for a troubling commute on Thursday evening and left some without power in Hamburg, Lancaster and Williamsville. The video below captures the Outer Harbor docks of Buffalo getting pounded by huge waves and gusts of 55+ winds!

How many shows did you go see at Buffalo's Canalside this year? For me, plenty as the final summer attendance numbers went well past expected. The ECHDC is already looking forward to Fall and Winter as they'll be adding additional activities for your family to enjoy in 2015-2016.
