As you may have heard, today is a BIG DAY in the BIG MAC world. I got my hands on a super secret lock-and-key case of the good stuff -- the bottled Big Mac Special Sauce. I just went through a very painful period in my life that ended with an tooth extraction. I do brush often but perhaps not as often as I should. I must increase flossing as well. And I think I'll follow this recipe for homemade tooth paste because the commercial brands just aren't as healthy for your teeth as they claim.

I tried my hand at candy-making this holiday season (trust me, I'm MUCH better at regular cooking...baking is too precise with measurements, candy is too precise with temperatures.  Give me "a lil' of this and a lil' of that, and I'm good!).  ...

Summer is here and it really brings the craving for ice cream! In Western new York we have our choice on where to go for great ice cream. I love custard, and you can't beat the hometown Perry's!
