Luna and Sakari, the celebrity Buffalo Zoo Polar Bears will be going on their first date this weekend and this is not a joke. The two polar bears who were paired together on purpose to eventually mate and preserve the vulnerable polar bear species...

There's love in the air at the Buffalo Zoo! Now home to Sakari, a male polar bear, there's hope to have the pitter patter of little polar bear feet in the future at the Arctic Edge. But first, he's gotta woo Luna, WNY's most eligible polar bear bachelorette...

Luna has a new roommate (and possibly a new boyfriend) as four year-old Sakari makes the new Arctic Edge exhibit his new home. Sakari comes from Madison, Wisconsin, and Zoo officials hope that one day they will be able to successfully mate him with Luna, and the Buffalo Zoo will be home one day to some polar bear cubs! ...

Teigen shared a precious video of baby Luna Simone Stephens, or as the TV personality calls her, "buttbutt."

I got the cutest birthday present from Laura Daniels -- and the coolest part about it is that it helps the Buffalo Zoo!

Like the rest of Buffalo (and a good portion of the rest of the world!) I've been following Luna's time at the Buffalo Zoo.  Sure, baby ANYTHINGs are adorable...but getting to see an amazing creature from its beginning stages, right here in WNY?  We really are fortunate.
