Here's another reminder of how grateful we should be to the men and women who serve our country.

As a small token of thanks, all veterans and active military personnel can see 'White House Down' for free at any Regal Entertainment Group, AMC, Cinemark or Carmike Cinemas theater.

For the first time, women in the armed forces will be moved into combat roles. Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta will make the official announcement Thursday.

It's one of the most heartwarming, sob-inducing sights you'll see on the Internet: the soldier returning home from overseas, surprising his or her child. It never gets old, one of the genuine feel-good moments the Internet lets us see.

Today and tomorrow we pay tribute to American veterans.  The president will lay a wreath at the Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier.  Thousands of people will show their support for our service men and women by lining the streets of New York City for the nation's Veterans Day Parade.

Some special attention today for some special people.  The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is conducting job fairs across the country, including one locally in Lackawanna today, aimed at finding employement for those who have served our country.

Last week, the Pentagon decided open up thousands of near-the-front-line military jobs to female military personnel who were previously restricted from such roles. First Lady Michelle Obama opened the doors of the White House to military families yesterday for the first look at its' 2011 Christmas decorations.  The First Lady paid tribute to our servicemen and women and showcased this year's holiday theme "Shine, Give, Share."

So many children are missing a parent these days, many who are away in the military.  One mom found a way to help her two-year-old daughter deal with Daddy being away at basic military training in Texas for two months.  He made several videos of his little girl to watch of him while he was away.  The young girls reaction to one of those videos says it all.

Reports are coming in of a mid-air collision between a C-130 cargo plane and a remotely operated Drone aircraft over the skies of Afghanistan.  The C-130 is assigned to the 914 Airlift Wing out of Niagara Falls.  According to Air force Capitan Justin Brockhoff the plane made a successful emergency landing and all crew members are said to be fine.  Captain Broc...
