Spring in Western New York

The last few days could only be described as gray, and gave us little reason for optimism, but it is May, and things should be getting better right? Well eventually...

We have all been waiting for Spring to surface in Western New York. This year Winter has seemed especially long. We get a glimpse of spring, then snow flurries, or high winds, or the occasional tornado watch!!

We are all "Winter-weary", and Spring has arrived, but what do the statistics say about this Winter in New York State, and is Buffalo really the Snow Capital?
