It's that time of the year again, time for Shepherd’s pie, the mashed potato and cabbage blend delight called colcannon and the leader in a favorite St. Patrick’s Day foods – corned beef and cabbage. There is nothing like corned beef and cabbage with a side Irish soda bread, a cold beer and anything made with Guinness.
The St. Patrick's Day parade will again start on Delaware Avenue from the Delaware Circle at City Hall and travel to North St. It's pretty much a straight line. This year the route for The Old Neighborhood St. Patrick's Day Parade has changed, but this year the larger parade scheduled for Sunday March 20 at 2 p.m. will remain the same.
Things are really looking up for The Larkin Square District in Buffalo. A new diner with a classic feel is in the works. This Larkin District eatery will be able to fit up to 50 people and will be open during special events like Food Truck Tuesdays. And speaking of special events, don't miss their 4th annual Live at O’Larkin St. Patrick's Day celebration in Larkin Square on the 18th.
