Travel Bans

This is a recent image of the NY State Thruway near LeRoy New York and it's closed. But for what reason many travelers are asking. The roads appear to be perhaps slick in spots or simply...just wet.  The worst road conditions are well to the south of this area.

Western New York continues to be shut down due to the lake effect snow pelting the Buffalo area. The winter storm has dumped over five feet of snow in the area and more is on the way!
