Do you remember "The Turk-Cake"?

On Saturday, I was at the Fisher Price Toy Store for an event with Santa and all the good little boys and girls.  I had "sacrificed" a day of my Thanksgiving-food-coma-weekend, because I really wanted to meet you - the Joy listener - and of course get my shot at tellin' the big guy what I really want for Christmas this year (I'll never tell, so don't ask!). ...

...and is that the right spelling? Who knows. But here's footage of the official unveiling (at 10 a.m...) of my most recent delicacy.  It's Turk-Cake Day somewhere! And some still shots for your viewing pleasure...

As I've mentioned, I love to cook. I also love to put fun spins on tradition. Enter: The Turk-Cake. The idea came to me in a half-asleep haze: Make a layer cake out of traditional Thanksgiving flavors. The rest was history (or, HERstory, in this case)...
